Riding our motorbikes we will then enjoy one of the most extraordinary experiences that a motorcyclist must perform at least once in his life: crossing the Italian Alps from east to west.

Unspoiled landscapes, small villages perfectly integrated into a breathtaking natural scenery, hundreds of curves every day that will leave an indelible image in your memory.

day Roma - Assisi

Reception of the participants at the Hertz Ride location in Roma with tour presentation. Departure from Hertz Ride Location in Rome, through the green region of Umbria we will visit the Marmore Falls. Riding one of the most exciting routes in the center of Italy, we will reach Assisi.
We still have a half day dedicated to the visit of Assisi. From the Roman forum to the Medieval Rocca Maggiore, from the spirituality of its basilicas to the splendor of the Renaissance palaces.
A journey through the ages in a unique place in the world, witness to an extraordinary Christian devotion. The lifestory of San Francesco and Santa Chiara, two vivid example of the most sincere spirituality.

day Assisi - Firenze

In the morning we will have the pleasure of discovering the city of Siena: one of the most celebrated jewels of Tuscany. Siena reveals, from an architectural point of view, a living masterpiece with its buildings, squares, and towers. No matter how many times you have seen it, it is impossible to escape its magical charm.
Piazza del Campo to learn about the history of the 17 districts, La Torre del Mangia, the Palazzo Pubblico and the Duomo. A history long centuries. In the afternoon we will live the experience of getting lost in "Chiantishire", the classic Chianti wine route. Travel without haste in small villages famous in the world for the extraordinary production of Italian excellence. Taste unforgettable wine accompanied by meats and cheeses in the best tradition of Tuscany. 
Through the valley of the river Arno, we will reach Florence.

A half day to get to know or revisit the wonders of Florence. From the Duomo to Piazza della Signoria, from the Uffizi to Santa Maria Novella. The evocative view of Ponte Vecchio and then admire the David di Donatello in its majesty.
Without forgetting the joy of the palate, between "Fiorentina" steaks and quality wines. The wonderful experience of crossing the “Passo del Muraglione” and the amazing experience of visiting one of the smaller nations in the world: the Republic of San Marino. Known as the Republic of the titan (from the name of the mountain on which it stands), it is one of the oldest nations in the world. A typical example of medieval architecture, its small town is preserved in an astonishing way. The view that you can enjoy from the first tower will remain in your memory.

day San Marino - Ravenna

Once the San Marino visit is over, with a quick transfer, we will reach the city of Ravenna. Hertz Ride takes you to discover one of the cities of art less known by mass tourism. Eight cultural artistic sites protected by UNESCO as a heritage of humanity. The Byzantine heart of the city is visible through the extraordinary mosaics of the mausoleum of Galla Placidia, the Basilica of Sant'Apollinare, the Basilica of San Vitale.
Do not miss the Mausoleum of Theodoric, the barbarian king who ruled in Italy for 33 years bringing peace and prosperity.

Another hidden part of Italy to be discovered riding Hertz Ride bikes. Leaving Ravenna we will cross the delta of the river Po, the largest river in Italy. It will be possible to discover the uniqueness of the ecosystem of the area and the extraordinary ability to adapt of the river people. Making a stop in the charming towns of Comacchio, we will discover the "little Venezia". The most characteristics and fascinating historic town in the Park of the Po Delta, Comacchio was built in order to financially exploit the river's advantage and now has an extensive maze of canals, with small wonderful bridges connecting the various corners of the town. Chioggia is another little gem of the region. With a quick transfer, we will finally reach Venezia.

Full day visit of Venezia. One of the places to see at least once in life. With the whole day available it will be possible to relax and intensely enjoy the artistic beauties of the city.

day Venezia - Cortina D'Ampezzo

With a fast highway transfer to avoid the traffic, we will arrive in Belluno. Here our adventure begins and it will take us to cross the Alps. Majestic mountain passes, unspoiled nature, small villages living in extreme harmony with nature.
This great beauty to enjoy riding on some of the most beautiful roads in the world. Crossing the Falzarego Pass ( altitude 2105 m ), it will allow us to reach in sequence Selva di Cadore, Pieve di Cadore, Auronzo di Cadore. You will love the Three peaks of Lavaredo. The final stage of the day, Cortina d'Ampezzo, called the pearl of the Dolomites because surrounded by an amphitheater of mountains of irresistible beauty. Cortina is also famous for being considered a resort frequented by VIPs capable of offering the best of shops, hotels and gastronomic services.

day Cortina D'Ampezzo - Garmisch

The eight-day will lead us to cross mainly the Austrian territory along wide valleys that will offer the view of pastures and landscapes different from those seen in the previous days until we reach the glacier of Grossglockner climbing a beautiful panoramic road surrounded by hundreds of marmots that live the slopes of the mountain. In Austria, we will climb green valleys until we reach Germany for our stop at Garmisch Partenchirchen, a known ski resort located at the foot of the Zugspitze (2.962 m), the highest mountain in Germany.

day Garmisch - Livigno

On this day we will cross 4 countries: Italy, Switzerland, Austria, and Germany. It will be a succession of emotions and places to discover starting from the most familiar among the Alpine passes. Through Glorenza, a small town founded in the eleventh century D.C. characteristic for its walls where you can breathe the air of other times. In the afternoon up to Stelvio Pass. We conclude our daily trip in Livigno, a "duty-free location" famous for those who love shopping.

day Livigno - Chiavenna

On the eleventh day, we will cross the Valtellina, famous for its unique gastronomy, heading west and crossing two other Alpine passes (Gavia Pass and Aprica Pass) that will give us riding pleasure and spectacular views. In particular, the Gavia pass can be considered a place of uncontaminated beauty because it climbs steeply in a few kilometers through a narrow and winding road up to over 2,600 m. of altitude. At the end of the day, we will arrive in Chiavenna, a renowned tourist place and in the past a strategic center in the heart of Rezia region.

day Chiavenna - Andermatt

This day will take us through 5 magnificent alpine passes (Spluga Pass, Oberalp Pass, Susten Pass, Grimsel Pass, Furka Pass) with their hairpin bends and breathtaking views over 2000 m. of altitude will remain an indelible memory of this day in the name of the mountain. At the end of the day we will arrive in Andermatt, a famous tourist resort, well know for ski sports.

day Andermatt - Milano

We will ride again in the heart of the mountains with the crossing of the Gotthard Pass (2.016 m.), used by pilgrims in the Middle Ages to reach Rome or the Holy Land.After that, we will head south in direction of Bellinzona, Swiss town famous for its three medieval castles. Crossing the historic town of Stresa and Arona, we will reach our final destination in Hertz Ride Location in Milano. We will toast together at the end of our trip and we will start planning the new adventure with Hertz Ride.
